Here’s What we Look for in an Awardee!

Beyond the opportunity of granting you funding for your business, Mason Makes Money Fund’s grant award process serves to offer a real-world learning experience of how to secure funding for your business in the future! Before you fill out and complete the application form below, read about what we look for in a candidate:

  • We look to see that you are active in your business, and that you regularly update your social media channels, and communicate with your audience.
  • We want to know that you have a basic to mid-level understanding of business concepts, like marketing, branding and budgeting that are reflected in your business and application. This means that you go the extra mile with what you know and what you learn to make your company great!
  • Please be sure that your application is neat!
  • We look at your support systems (parents, teachers, mentors, etc.) If you do not have a lot of support, you can still apply, do not worry!
  • Be sure your application explains clearly how you will use the money and how it will affect your business.
  • We look to see that you have plans for your business long term and short term. Show us how committed you are to your business!
